PreGel Favorites: What We Are Loving at PreGel Right Now

Our staff at PreGel AMERICA is very knowledgeable about the products we carry. It’s our job to taste them, try them in applications and determine if our customer base (you!) would be interested. Recently, it occurred to me why aren’t we sharing these experiences and the excitement of what we are loving with our customers. And so brings the birth of this column. Keep in mind, it’s our employees’ opinions, so we don’t expect everyone to agree, but what we can ensure is that when you live and breathe the products every day, you tend to be a harsher critic. So here goes.

Pino Pinguino® Noccolino Arabeschi® (Hazelnut Crunch)
The hazelnut has always been a point of opposition in the company; you have the Europeans that revere the nut, and the Americans who generally find it inferior to the beloved peanut. But, what we can all agree on is this Arabeschi® has all the makings of a successful topping with its creamy meets crunchy disposition.

Stera Sheen Food Grade Lubricant
Ok, maybe it’s among the less exciting of the products we carry, but the point is we carry this now. For those who work at our trade shows and demos, and within the Professional Training Center, this has always been an in-demand item that wasn’t readily accessible. Many of us had to hoard our own supply to keep machines in good working order. The good news, there’s enough for all to go around.

Swirling Chocolate CaféttoneTM with Condensed Milk
Unbeknown to many of us, condensed milk with confections is widely popular in Mexico. So when Marketing Specialist for Mexico Francisco (Paco) Bañuelos suggested we try a recipe swirling our Chocolate CaféttoneTM with it, we questioned the validity of this request. Then, we found ourselves licking the very last drop from our cups. Point made, Paco!
