Views from the Tree received a coveted 2010 Hermes Creative Platinum Award in the Magazine/Publication category. The top honors were awarded to the Summer/Fall 2009 issue.

Hermes AwardViews from the Tree’s editorial and creative direction is primarily produced by PreGel AMERICA with design outsourced to WhiteSpace Creative. The magazine is printed at United Printing in Charlotte, NC.

“This honor from Hermes means so much to our team,” said Jillian Hillard, editor-in-chief of the magazine and marketing manager for PreGel AMERICA. “Our magazine has truly been a labor of love for everyone involved, and I can’t even begin to express our excitement.”

The Hermes Creative Awards recognizes outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals. There were over 3,600 entries from throughout the United States and several other countries in the Hermes Creative Awards 2010 competition. Entries came from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.

Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (www.amcpros.com). The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and freelance professionals. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.

AMCP judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. Winners were selected from 144 categories in seven forms of media and communication efforts–advertising, publications, marketing/branding, integrated marketing, public relations/communications, electronic media and pro bono.
