Specialty dessert ingredient manufacturer and distributor expands network of training facilities
Aside from producing, manufacturing, and distributing specialty dessert ingredients for the creation of artisan frozen dessert and pastry, PreGel (Pre Gelato) is also very passionate about culinary education. PreGel America is excited to announce the expansion of its state-of-the-art International Training Centers to the state of Illinois. Located just 6.5 miles away from the Chicago O’Hare Airport, PreGel’s latest addition to its network of educational establishments will be housed in the Regent O’Hare Business Center office park at 915 Busse Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL, just outside of Chicago. Slated for a grand opening in February 2017 when classes will commence, the Illinois learning establishment will serve as an educational resource for dessertpreneurs and those looking to enhance their knowledge in the areas of gelato, soft serve, beverage, and pastry production.
Featuring four work stations, the PreGel International Training Centers – Chicago accommodates a class of 12 people for in-depth lectures and hands-on learning experience. The facility is equipped with a variety of gelato, soft serve, and refrigeration equipment, and provides attendees with the opportunity to test and taste each product they create. The facility’s conference room will also have audio visual set up to allow for Power Point presentations.
